Hands up if you thought Drake was dropping “Certified Lover Boy” and then you found out Drizzy was keeping us on our toes with a quick EP release with “Scary Hours 2”?. Drake has dropped three tracks that are the high energy Drake tracks wrapped with clever wordplay and easter eggs that keep us guessing.

Drake kicks off with “What’s Next” which starts with that simple catchy Drake flow where he also seems to list off interesting life events that he has taken part in recently including on Valentines Day, if there is one thing Drake can do it is get people talking. “Wants and Needs” with one of the kings of the modern game Lil Baby who delivers one of my top five Lil Baby verses to date and lowkey bodied Drake on his own track. Although the big talking point was did Drake did Kanye and admit to getting with Kim like all the “Conspiracy Theories” say? You be the judge but again this is Drizzy keep us talking and keeping him relevant.

The third and final track is another track with Rick Ross in “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” which is probably the smoothest produced track on the EP with a smooth Rick Ross talking about food, money and his hustle, this is definitely more of a “Boom Bap” track but another awesome track to finish this EP.

If these are the throwaway tracks for “Certified Lover Boy” then all this small EP does is getting us hyped and getting us talking for this new Drake album, here is your W, Drake.
