Rhys Rich Drops New Track 'Family Of Solace’

Rising star, Rhys Rich, has today released his new single Family Of Solace.’

“My single cc’ was written & produced in February of 2020. I was listening to a bit of Quasimoto, along with Leon Bridges, and found myself in a strange position within my own music. The lyrics stumble back & forth expressing a protection for my doubts, unmet apologies, and the love I struggle to bring forth.

The title ‘Family Of Solace’ came from a deep kōrero with a close friend. We often find ourselves examining and debating society and the lives we have so far lived. This particular conversation was an introspective assessment of the contrasts and highlights (among other things) of our childhoods; surprised and grateful, this talk gave me an entire new outlook on love and what it means to feel accepted. Family Of Solace means no judgement, no expectations, empathy and comfort, when you need it most.”
