Ashanti & Keyshia Cole Announced For Next VERZUZ Battle

Following months of speculation, Ashanti and Keyshia Cole have officially announced that they will go head to head in the next instalment of Verzuz. The R&B queens will celebrate ladies night with 20 of their biggest hits during the highly-anticipated event, which will stream live on Apple Music and Instagram on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET - Sunday, Dec 13, at 2 pm in NZ.

Back in July, Keyshia challenged Ashanti to a battle, but Ashanti did not respond to the proposed pairing. Then earlier this week, Keyshia confirmed that she would be doing Verzuz, but did not reveal her challenger.

The Ashanti vs. Keyshia battle follows Gucci Mane vs. Jeezy, which broke all Verzuz records with over 1.8 million viewers.

Timbaland and Swizz Beatz have also teased more potential Verzuz battles including Diddy vs. Dr. Dre. “The universe has been bringing these magical wishes, so I can’t even say what’s not gonna happen anymore,” Swizz told TMZ.
