As expected, the Chicago rapper-singer’s family and label have announced that they plan to share unreleased material with the listeners sometime in the future. “We plan to honor Juice’s talents, his spirit, and the love he felt for his fans by sharing unreleased music and other projects that he was passionately in the process of developing,” the statement said that you can read in full below.

They also reveal that there will be a public tribute in his hometown of Chicago, the details of which will be announced at a later date. At this point, there is no word as to when the music will hit stores. Over the past week or so, dozens of unreleased songs from Juice WRLD have leaked online through unknown sources. While some of them sound unfinished, others feel like album quality.

Earlier in the day, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office revealed that the reason behind Juice WLRD’s sudden and tragic death in December was accidental overdose of codeine and oxycodone.
