YG Affiliate Slim 400 Shot in Compton

Los Angeles rapper and YG associate Slim 400 was rushed to the hospital after being shot multiple times in Compton last night. TMZ reports that the call came in around 8:30 p.m. local time.

A motive and suspect in the case is unclear, but the website's sources say a black vehicle suspected to be involved with the shooting was seen driving away from the scene. The latest reports say that 400 is in critical but stable condition.

TMZ shared that Slim 400 was shot 8 times and underwent surgery, citing unnamed sources close to the situation. They add that YG was with Slim in the hospital throughout much of the ordeal and note that the 400 was conscious.

The 31-year-old rapper is best known for his team-up's with YG and Lil Yachty on songs like "Bruisin" and "Skraper."
