Kodak Black Faces Two 30-Year Sentences for New Gun Charges

Just 2 days after being sentenced to nearly 4 years in prison, Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office hit Kodak Black with two felony counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon which carries 30 years in prison for each count.

According to documents obtained by Miami Herald, prosecutors call Kodak a "habitual offender," and because of that, he faces up to 30 years in prison on each count. It is unknown whether or not the sentences would run concurrently.

Kodak was arrested at Rolling Loud in May for breaking federal law by checking "no" in a box on a firearms application where it asked if the person filling out the form is under indictment for a felony. Being that he was in fact indicted for criminal sexual conduct for a 2016 case in South Carolina, this was incorrect, so he was arrested. The feds had linked him to a March shooting after his fingerprints were found on the gun purchased for the act
